The loneliness epidemic is a public health crisis. Cousins exists to address it — a cooperative Community Care Centre (CCC) in Camberwell, South London, where creativity, wellbeing and belonging are available to everyone, regardless of income or background. Not a service designed for people. A space built around them.
Everything at the CCC is intentional — from the music playing in the room to the magazine on the table. Our programming is clinically informed, culturally rooted and cooperatively governed. Members shape what we become. Every surplus is reinvested in the space and the people who use it.
